Make sure your heart rate monitor or Bluetooth headphones are in pairing mode. The pairing mode process can greatly differ between headphone models. See below.
For the Echelon Armband Heart Rate Monitor:
1. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device (this will already be on for the mounted tablets on the equipment).
2. Place the monitor on your wrist or upper forearm, and press the Bluetooth connection button.
3. When on the workout screen on the Echelon Fit App, you will see an outlined heart icon on the top-right corner.
4. Press the heart icon to complete the connection.
5. The unit will automatically pair with the app within 5 seconds. if it does pair within 5 seconds, then restart the app or mounted tablet, and repeat steps 2-4.
Android and mounted tablet users please note:
The Echelon Armband Heart Rate Monitor will automatically connect to the app within 10 seconds after you press the Bluetooth connection button while you are wearing it.
Additional Notes
- If the LED connection button flashes red, then the battery is low and needs to be charged.
- The LED will flash green and red while charging.
Once charged, the LED will be a steady green. - Make sure the heart rate monitor is not connected to the Bluetooth settings of your device and only connecting via the Bluetooth in the app. Then, simply tap the broken heart icon on the app's (or mounted tablet's) screen, and it will pair. If you have a chest heart rate monitor from Echelon, make sure it is soaking wet, this is how to put it into pairing mode.
For Bluetooth headphones:
Make sure you follow the proper pairing procedure according to your headphone's manual.

1. Once the headphones are in the proper paining mode, look for the headphone icon on the app's (or mounted tablet's) screen.
2. Tap the headphone icon, and a small pop-up menu will appear. If this is the first time you are connecting your headphones, then you will see their device name in the "Other Devices" section of the pop-up menu.
3. Tap your headphone's device name in the list, and the app will pair to your headphones. Once connected, you will find your headphones in the "My Devices" section of the pop-up menu.
4. The headphone icon will turn from white to red to indicate the headphones have been properly paired.
