If the blue light on the console is flashing then you should be able to feel physical resistance manually. But if the blue light is solid you will have to be in a class to feel physical resistance. If you see no blue light make sure that the wires from the frame of the bike are connected and secure in the bottom back of the console. As well make sure the bike at the bottom back base is plugged in and connected directly to the wall outlet and not plugged into an extension cord. You may also try a different wall outlet. Even if for example you plug a lamp into that same wall outlet and it gets power, this does not mean the outlet will supply enough power to a larger piece of equipment like the Connect Bike.
*You should hear a beep and see a flashing blue light on your console when the bike is first plugged into the wall, to indicate all is working as it should.
Connecting the EX-1/EX-3 via Bluetooth to the mobile Echelon Fit app.
1.) Power cycle the bike, by unplugging it for 1 min and re-plugging it. (Unplug the bike when not in use)
2.) Open the Echelon Fit app on your mobile device.
3.) Sign in and choose your profile on the 'Who's working out today?' page.
4.) Open a class, or if you have no subscription, open the Me tab then select 'Start Freestyle' in the small blue font at the top under your workouts totals.
5.) Once in a ride you will see a red banner at the bottom of the ride that says "> Not connected to equipment : Connect" Tap on the word "Connect" in the white box inside the red banner. You will get a larger white box that says "Echelon Equipment" This is where your EX-1 or EX-3 serial number will populate. Once it does it will either auto connect or you will need to tap on the serial number. Then you should be connected and ready to ride.
