During the Winter of 2024, customers experienced an issue updating their app to the latest version. To resolve this technical issue, Echelon released tablet firmware updates. The tablet firmware chart below is an easy reference to see if and when your update is available and will be updated regularly.
To find your tablet firmware version, go to the "More" tab and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. If you are on a semi newer app version you may see a Me tab instead, if you do then tap on Me then the gear/cog icon in the top right and you are now on the More section of the app.
- If your tablet firmware is already listed in the new section, you're ready; update your app!
- If your tablet firmware version has TBD listed as the new tablet firmware, we are working as quickly as possible to release it.
- If your tablet firmware version does not appear in the old or new sections, please email customer support at cs@echelonfit.com with the subject "Firmware Update." Be sure to include your tablet firmware and app version details in your message. The tablet firmware is a long series of letters and number and cannot be found by selecting the Tablet Firmware option, or the Check for App Update option, you will need to scroll ALL the way down to the very bottom of the More section of the app, the app version and the tablet firmware will be together there.

Troubleshooting
Stride-S Update Loop - Power cycle equipment. When update prompt appears, tap update, let the download complete to 100%, wait 1 minute, then power cycle again. When the update prompt appears after reboot, wait 20 seconds for the installation prompt. When the installation prompt appears, hit install and proceed with the update as normal.
Stuck at 100% Downloading- Restart your equipment by unplugging, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging back in. Alternatively, you can restart via the power switch. Once complete, the tablet will reboot into the update immediately. If it does not, a popup will appear saying a system update is available. Please hit accept and let the update proceed.
"Cannot Find Echelon App" - Restart your equipment by power cycling it off, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, and power it on.
